DR. Ir Rachmat Kentardjo Bachrum, DEA is an expert in engineering field especially in maintenance management. He has been 29 years in career at industry and university. He received bachelor degree from Mechanical Engineering ITB, Master and Docteurd'Etat from Universite de Perpignan, Academie de Montpellier, France.
In his career he had been many time lead maintenance team to conduct overhaul of 4x400 MW steam turbine at PLTU Suralaya (Coal Fired Electric Power Plant). The overhaul could be completed with technical and time accuracy the same as achieved by progressive countries including Japan. He also joined as senior specialist in consultant company to handle feasibility study , design, and supervision of either construction or rehabilitation project in PLN (Indonesia State Owned Electric Company). He also publishes many papers in energy conversion at International Scientific or national magazines. Currently he is still active as senior lecturer at Internal Combustion Engine and System Propulsion, ITB.
